I am pregnant now what?
It’s too early I don’t need to see a provider yet, do I ? Which Answer is incorrect!
1 No you do not need to see a provider, because there is nothing they can do for you now. You are just too early!
2 Yes you do because the first few weeks of pregnancy are the most rapid time of development for the embryo. There isn’t a huge window of opportunity, but adding vitamins or adjusting certain medications you may be taking are important to look at as soon as possible.
3 Yes you do because the earlier the sonogram the better estimation of due date and that is important because some of the genetic tests rely on accurate dating.
4 The obstetrician or midwife can only deliver what you and your body have developed. Given good and proper care early right from the beginning will give your unborn baby the best start possible.
