From a young age Dr. Noumi knew he would follow in his father’s footsteps, leading him into the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His long-standing affinity for medicine brought him to Damascus University where he earned his medical degree. He then completed an intensive four year residency and served as Chief Resident at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, the very hospital in which he was born.
Dr. Noumi is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has published research articles in peer reviewed journals and has presented nationally. He serves as a mentor and preceptor for medical students and residents, and has received multiple awards for his aptitude in teaching as well as his clinical and surgical skills. He is highly regarded by his patients and colleges.
It is Dr. Noumi’s goal to provide all of his patients with individualized care, adhering to the most current practice guidelines. He believes that excellent patient care should always be combined with a compassionate and empathetic approach. To this end, he treats all of his patients with the respect and kindness he would want for his own family.
